Sid Mistry from Crowd Science recently sat in on an interesting talk at San Francisco’s OMMA Global event. The discussion presented by Anne Hunter of comScore was called “Viewable Impressions – What You Need to Know Now to Thrive in Our Evolving Digital Economy”. Anne  focused on comScore’s initiative to make the viewable impressions (dubbed CPV or cost per view) metric an alternate standard of impression measurement in place of what we currently know as the standard, which is cost per impression (CPM).
